As social media exploded this week with back to school pictures, I can’t help but feel jealous and depressed. For first time, I am not returning as a student for which I’ve identified as for the past 22 years of my life! I remember being so excited to graduate and now I just wish I never had. So in honor of “Back to School,” is a shout out to UW-Stevens Point for giving me the best 4 years of my life and providing me with some of these wonderful memories.
Everybody’s favorite place
Working in the bakery
Working at the University Dining Center was the best campus job, especially working in the bakery! Although the hours were early, baking sweet treats and working with my roomie was the best experience.
Lounging on between classes
Where every patch of grass on campus is filled with lazy students debating whether or not to skip class and enjoy the day instead.
Belts/King Cone Ice Cream
Stevens Point is home of THEE BEST ice cream!
Learning new skills
If it weren’t for college, I wouldn’t have learned how to longboard!
Living in a dorm room
I admit that after my sophomore year I was so ready to move out of the dorm rooms. But living in the dorms was how I made some of my closest friends, made amazing memories and had the best pillow talks.
Blessed with the best! 😉
Moving into my first apartment and decorating it
Late night snacks
Always having people to watch the game with
Above all, I miss constantly being surrounded by these amazing people who especially helped make the last 4 years of college especially special 🙂 They’re not lying when people say that college is the best years of your lives.
Forever a Pointer
